Image Lake Fork: If there is a bass lake in Heaven, I can’t imagine how it could be much better than this East Texas jewel. As a result of trophy fishing management practices, Lake Fork has produced almost 70% of the Top 50 largest bass ever caught in Texas and is the undisputed Big Bass Capital of Texas. Encompassing over 27,000 acres, 300+ miles of shoreline, and dozens of protected coves, big bass are caught every day of the year. With only navigation channels cut in the native timber during construction, fertile water, and gentle rolling terrain; Lake Fork is a cover and structure fisherman’s dream, including a tremendous amount of flooded timber, hydrilla and milfoil, lily pads and cattails, humps, points, and roadbeds to fish. Lake Fork is 70 miles east of Dallas.
